Description

Robert Half is seeking a Cyber Security Professional to join our client's team in Vermont. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and safety of our client's systems and data. You will be responsible for implementing the security program, conducting risk assessments, responding to cybersecurity incidents, and staying up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain all aspects of the security program.

Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management activities.

Implement security controls to protect networks, systems, and data.

Respond to security incidents promptly and effectively.

Maintain accurate records of cybersecurity activities, policies, and procedures, including incident response plans and compliance documentation.

Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.

Collaborate with management to develop and implement cybersecurity strategies.

Work with various teams to integrate cybersecurity into all aspects of our operations.

Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees.

Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field

Have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with NIST cybersecurity framework

Proven experience in building and maintaining security systems

Proficient in preparing IT security documentation and conducting system security certification throughout all stages of the system lifecycle

Knowledge of threat modeling or other risk identification techniques

Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity standards and procedures

Ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management

Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring and Data Loss Prevention

Understand and implement technical vulnerability corrections

Possess relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH.
