Technical Program Manager (100% Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Program Manager to support and lead cross-functional initiatives. This person will serve as a strategic partner to the Program Lead, taking ownership of two major initiatives:

1. A deployment-based project involving coordination between SaaS and hardware vendors and internal teams (including Fresh Food Engineering)

2. A support-focused project RIS 2.0 requiring structured oversight, issue tracking, and team alignment

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role requiring strong program delivery skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the execution of a technology deployment initiative from planning through delivery

• Manage cross-functional coordination between:

  • SaaS solution vendors

  • Hardware partners for equipment provisioning and installation

  • Internal engineering teams (notably those in the fresh food domain)

• Define timelines, track progress, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks

• Ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope

• Lead and coordinate activities related to RIS 2.0, a long-term support initiative

• Track incidents, escalate issues, and work with support teams to ensure resolution

• Maintain project artifacts, support dashboards, and performance metrics

• Provide timely updates to stakeholders and leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience

• Demonstrated experience with deployment-type projects (hardware/software rollouts)

• Strong track record of vendor management, including:

  • SaaS vendors

  • Hardware suppliers

• Experience working with or managing internal engineering teams

• Familiarity or experience in the retail or fresh food industry is a major plus

• Deep understanding of Project Management 101 concepts: scope, timeline, resources, risk

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with support projects or IT operations

• Prior experience with RIS (Retail Information Systems) platforms

• Proficient in tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, MS Project, or similar

• Project management certifications like PMP, CSM, or PMI-ACP are a plus
