Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Libertyville, Illinois. In this role, you will provide first-level technical support to end users, ensuring quick resolution of IT issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Assist with password resets, account management, and troubleshooting network printer problems.
Respond to and resolve support tickets efficiently using a ticketing system.
Perform basic hardware troubleshooting, including diagnostics for computers, printers, and other peripherals.
Support imaging and deployment of computers for new users or system upgrades.
Collaborate with team members to document and share solutions for recurring technical issues.
Use Active Directory to manage user accounts and permissions.
Ensure a high standard of customer service by communicating effectively with end users.
Identify and escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience providing technical support to end users.
Proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft and Apple devices.
Familiarity with Active Directory for account and permission management.
Experience resolving hardware issues, including printer and computer diagnostics.
Knowledge of password management processes, including resets and changes.
Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues in a networked environment.
Hands-on experience with computer imaging and system deployments.
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
