We are seeking an Azure Enterprise Solution Architect for a long-term contract role.
Contract to Hire w2 role only
100% Remote role

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Enterprise Solution Architect to lead multi-client consulting engagements that span Azure infrastructure, enterprise-scale AI solutions, data platforms, and integration initiatives. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical execution, with a particular emphasis on architecting resilient, secure, and scalable environments using Microsoft Azure. You will play a key leadership role in enabling clients to adopt Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and comprehensive HA/DR strategies to support their business-critical workloads.
Primary Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture & Consulting Oversight
Provide architectural governance and strategic direction for consulting engagements involving Microsoft Azure, with emphasis on advanced AI, data modernization, and enterprise integration. Lead design and delivery of Azure OpenAI and Copilot-enabled solutions for enhanced automation and intelligent services. Collaborate directly with clients to align architecture with business goals, technical constraints, and compliance requirements. Azure Infrastructure & Continuity Engineering
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure environments across multi-tenant client landscapes.
Architect and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) plans using services like Azure Site Recovery, Backup, and region failover automation.
Leverage core Azure HA features including Availability Zones, Load Balancers, Traffic Manager, and Scale Sets. Automation, Optimization & Monitoring
Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell) to automate deployments and operations.
Proactively monitor systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud, and optimize performance and cost efficiency.
Develop workflows and APIs syncing diverse platforms
Oversee APIM, data mapping/transformation, and integration design Security & Governance
Enforce enterprise-grade security and compliance using RBAC, Network Security Groups, Azure Policy, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
Ensure governance standards across identity, access, data protection, and platform configurations. Required Skills &
Qualifications Technical Expertise
Deep experience with core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, identity, and hybrid configurations.
Proven success in architecting resilient solutions with HA/DR patterns in enterprise environments.
Practical knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and integrating AI into enterprise workflows.
Strong knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) and API/integration solutions.
Certifications Required (at least one foundational + one architect cert):
AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or
AZ-204 Microsoft Azure Developer Associate And:
AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert Preferred/Additional:
AZ-400 DevOps Engineer Expert
AZ-500 Security Engineer Associate
DP-203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure
SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator Core
