SAP BW/4HANA Consultant- *Remote*- 12 month initial contract
Keys: BW/4HANA
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BW/4HANA modeling, extraction, reporting, ABAP development, and Embedded BPC. This role requires expertise in financial data integration and reporting to enhance SAP Group Reporting capabilities.
Must Haves:
8+ years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA development and architecture.
Expertise in BW/4HANA data modeling, extraction, and reporting.
Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development in BW/4HANA.
Knowledge of Embedded BPC for financial planning and reporting.
Experience integrating BW/4HANA with SAP Group Reporting.
Understanding of financial reporting and consolidation processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Haves:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting.
Prior work with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Knowledge of SQL, HANA modeling, and CDS views.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize BW/4HANA data models to support financial reporting and consolidation.
Implement data extraction strategies from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
Design and develop reports using BW Query Designer, Analysis for Office, or other SAP reporting tools.
Write and optimize ABAP code for BW transformations, enhancements, and process automation.
Configure and maintain Embedded BPC for financial planning and forecasting.
Collaborate with finance and IT teams to align BW/4HANA solutions with SAP Group Reporting requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity, performance, and reporting issues.
