Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral):

Must-Have:

  • Proficient in Application development and deployment using JAVA & CI/CD Tools.
  • Strong in Microservices and Spring Boot.
  • Requires good communication skills (written and verbal), with heavy client contact.
    • Interaction with client technical contacts and internal business users.
    • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of the technical stack.
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, including:
    • 8+ years of strong core Java development experience.
    • 4+ years of leading a team of Java developers.
    • 6+ years of development experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.

Good-to-Have:

  • 4+ years of development experience with MongoDB & Kafka.
  • 4+ years of experience with microservices architecture.
  • 4+ years of experience working in an Agile-based development environment.
  • PBM knowledge (Preferred).

Responsibilities/Expectations from the Role:

  1. Drive, design, and develop Microservices and Spring Boot applications.
  2. Build components compatible with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Maintain good communication skills (written and verbal) for heavy client interaction and collaboration with internal business users.
  4. Leverage cloud development experience, REST API development, and SQL.
  5. Migrate existing databases to PostgreSQL.

  • Project: Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Eligibility Project
    • Objective: Creating a single source of eligibility by migrating from multiple eligibility systems.
    • The team will migrate the AS400/RxClaim eligibility system to Google Cloud Platform as part of the SSOE initiative.
    • The Lead will work directly with the customer.
    • Expected Team Size: 10 to 15 associates.
