Overview of the team:
The HR Project Management Office (PMO) manages key initiatives, systems changes, and operational projects across the HR function.

Key team goals:
The role directly supports goals related to driving efficiency, enhancing project speed and governance, and improving operational excellence through high-quality deliverables (e.g., decks, mock-ups, documentation).

Key projects or initiatives for the role:

Efficiency: Measurable reduction in manual work or time spent on tasks due to AI/automation adoption.
Tool Adoption: Successful and seamless integration and utilization of new AI platforms within the PMO.

How is success measured?
Success is measured by the role's ability to be a flexible partner who can jump into the deep end, providing clarity and structure to ambiguous problems, translating existing data into actionable recommendations, and delivering high-quality, executive-ready project readiness artifacts that accelerate project manager tasks.

Challenges in hiring for this role in the past (if applicable):
This is a fast-paced environment with a high standard of operational excellence and expectations of team members taking initiative.

What has worked well in hiring for similar roles?

Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly):
Project Support: Providing immediate, flexible support, including light project management duties (tracking, coordination, logistics).
Project Deliverables: Developing high-quality outputs like executive presentation decks, business process diagrams, and system mock-ups/wireframes.
Data Interpretation: Utilizing existing HR data and PMO metrics to interpret trends, diagnose pain points, and inform project recommendations. This role does not require back-end query writing or detailed report development.
Process Optimization: Conducting detailed process mapping, gap analysis (BSA), and documenting functional requirements and user stories.

Must-have skills/qualifications (technical, soft skills, certifications, tools):
Experience: Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis (BSA) or a highly versatile project support role. Ability to create executive-level presentations/decks, requirements solicitation, consultation & documentation, and system mock-ups/wireframes.
Tools: Proficiency in presentation and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Google Suite, or similar), and practical familiarity with LLMs (Gemini preferred) and automation platforms.
Soft Skills: Exceptional versatility and resilience, high tolerance for ambiguity, strong ability to interpret existing data for recommendations, and light project management capabilities. Strong communication (verbal and written), consultative partnership focus, ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences (similar to a project manager).
Ideal experience level (years, leadership, industries): Experience level consistent with "Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis " and managing complexity. (Suggesting 3-5+ years in a relevant role such as BSA or PMO).
Any preferred industries or companies for background?

Desired personality or work style:
AI-First Operational Mindset: Always seeking ways to leverage technology and automation.
Resilient and Agile: Demonstrates high tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to rapidly assimilate complex information (the "jump into the deep end " capability).
Consultative: Focuses on guiding partners toward action rather than just delivering raw outputs.
Key attributes or values sought in the candidate: Resilience, agility, ownership in high-pressure situations, and a strategic, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
