The Continuous Improvement (Lean) Engineer will provide tactical support within the Greenville Manufacturing facility in the development and sustainment of a Lean/Inventory Strategy aligned with the business imperatives. You will partner with organizational leadership to drive product and process improvements aligned to the site lean roadmap that deliver lead time reductions and maximize free cash flow.

Pay Transparency
The base pay range for this position is $74,800.00 - $93,500.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 5 % variable incentive compensation.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

The Continuous Improvement (Lean) Engineer will provide tactical support within the Greenville Manufacturing facility in the development and sustainment of a Lean/Inventory Strategy aligned with the business imperatives. You will partner with organizational leadership to drive product and process improvements aligned to the site lean roadmap that deliver lead time reductions and maximize free cash flow.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate and drive cultural transformation across site and lead process improvement projects & initiatives using lean principles.
- Be responsible for continuous improvement, being an innovator of positive change that impacts safety, profitability, inventory turns, on-time delivery, lead-time and quality.
- Analyze problems, account for variances, drive for root cause and implement improved methods and procedures, create, review and update improvement plans.
- Execute the lean strategy for the organization focused on each value stream and subsequently drive implementation.
- Implement tools and metrics to improve visibility to operational health and lean performance Execute Lean Manufacturing initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process / workflow improvements, and visual management, and inventory reduction.
- Learn lean concept application from senior lean team members. Demonstrate acuity in application under their guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing).
Desired Characteristics:
- Lean training and/or experience in a lean MFG environment.
- Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality management systems, and standard cost systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal, leadership and oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task, manage projects, and work independently in fast-paced environment.
