The Data Analytics Engineer of FFIP Business Operations and Systems is a Site based strategic role focused on improving business processes and driving data-driven decision making across manufacturing operations for the Drug Product APU. This position ensures effective and efficient use of human capital and provides systems support and data solutions through the three interconnected workstreams, ERP system/Workforce Management/Digital Transformation. The role champions the adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and data driven solutions to drive financial results across Formulation, Filling, Inspection, and Packaging (FFIP) operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility and education across FFIP functions.
  • Aid in solving process related problems by ensuring the collection, management, and analysis of quality data.
  • Conduct quality assurance of collected data and expand the core concepts of data governance within the organization.
  • Participate in modeling initiatives through data acquisition and visualization of key results AND life cycle improvements of existing vaccines processes.
  • Aid with activities such as Statistical Process Control, data mining, and process modeling.
  • Support the global evolution of data science and support its implementation at the site.
  • Implement industry-leading visualization tools and/or "core model" tools (e.g., Power BI, etc.) to create real-time performance altering dashboards and quality metrics across all process areas of FFIP.
  • Lead change management initiatives for digital transformation projects affecting core operations.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to implement AI-powered solutions for process optimization.
  • Oversee implementation of digital twin technology and process simulation tools to improve manufacturing flows
  • Implement predictive analytics for process improvements around cost and productivity.
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for manufacturing personnel and leadership around how to use digital tools and to use the data to improve cost and productivity.

About You

Required Qualifications
  • BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Operational Research or other related field or MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Operational Research or another related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in object-oriented programming languages including Python AND/OR R, and one or more object-oriented languages.
  • 3-5 years' experience of one or more data visualizations tools such as Power BI, R libraries, Python libraries, etc.
  • 3-5 Year is Pharmaceutical Industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, cloud application deployment, and web development framework (AWS a plus)
  • Exposure to statistical programming languages such as SAS, JMP, R, etc.
  • Command line skills (bash, windows, Linux)
  • Familiarity with biologic processes is a plus.

$67,500.00 - $112,500.00
