Location: Flexible within US, but working hours will have to EST or CST work hours

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst (Financial Reconciliation Consultant) to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and implementing reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, expertise in financial systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reconciliation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial reconciliation analysis across various accounts and systems.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions.
- Develop and implement reconciliation processes to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze and document financial workflows, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in system improvements, automation, and integration for enhanced financial tracking.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial reconciliation, business analysis, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and reconciliation procedures.
- Proficiency in financial software, databases, and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in financial reconciliation, audit, or accounting.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation, revenue assurance, and variance analysis.
