Application Programmer

Compensation
Pay Range:$45.08-$64.40/Hrs

Description
Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Experience in mainframe systems development and support.
Involvement in mainframe modernization and integration with mid-range technologies.
Programming experience with generic programming languages and database management.
Knowledge of corporate credit card systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Code and test solutions to meet defined requirements and compliance standards.
Design and modify architecture components while maintaining integrity.
Mentor and coach team on continuous integration and development practices.
Execute story refinement and requirement definition throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Perform proof of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
Automate manual release activities.
Design and maintain automated test suites.

Qualifications
Experience in mainframe systems development and support.
Knowledge of mainframe modernization and integration with mid-range technologies.
Programming experience with generic programming languages and database management.
Experience with generic messaging systems and batch processing.
Knowledge of various database systems is a plus.
