Job Description:



  • Senior Manufacturing Systems/ERP Consultant will lead a comprehensive evaluation of existing manufacturing systems and processes across multiple global sites.

  • Leveraging your expertise in JD Edwards, Infor BAAN, Oracle, and other ERP systems, you will devise a strategic roadmap for consolidating our disparate systems into a unified ERP solution, as well as plan and implement improvements of manufacturing business processes to optimize efficiency, quality, and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing manufacturing systems, business processes, and workflows across 17 global sites.

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for consolidating multiple ERP systems into a single, unified platform, either JD Edwards, Infor BAAN or other ERP solution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify pain points, and prioritize improvement opportunities.

  • Utilize your expertise in JD Edwards, Infor BAAN, Oracle, and other ERP systems to evaluate system capabilities, integrations, and customization requirements.

  • Lead system configuration, data migration, and testing activities to ensure a seamless transition to the new ERP platform.

  • Analyze manufacturing floor operations and processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Recommend and implement enhancements to manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to drive operational excellence.

  • Provide guidance and training to end-users to facilitate adoption of new ERP systems and processes.

  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system reliability and performance.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in ERP systems and manufacturing operations to continuously enhance our capabilities.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

  • 10-12+ years of experience as a Software Consultant, Business Analyst, or ERP Implementation Specialist, with a focus on manufacturing systems and processes.

  • Proven track record of successfully evaluating, implementing, and consolidating ERP systems, including JD Edwards, BAAN, and Oracle.

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing floor operations, supply chain management, and production processes.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.

  • Certifications in relevant ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, Infor BAAN) and project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
