DPP is seeking a Linux Server Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
- Hybrid: Onsite 3 days/week (Tues., Wed., Thurs.); 2 days remote. Additional onsite days may be required.
- W2 position; 12 months
- Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level US security clearance (Public Trust).
- The Linux Server Analyst will perform various monitoring activities and health checks. These tasks include checking job status, reviewing operational dashboards, and checking/reviewing email notifications.
- The next phase of the day would be focused on incident response and problem management. These tasks would include incident ticket assignments, troubleshooting monitoring alerts and providing technical assistance to our customers.
- There will be some project work involvement, training, knowledge sharing events, system maintenance and remediation tasks and various continued improvement activities.
- The Unix Operations team consists of a group of approximately 11 technicians. The group handles operational availability and various system changes.
- This team also performs various maintenance activities which would include HW/SW maintenance, security vulnerability management, and project support.
- The team is very collaborative and highly motivated.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Infrastructure management experience
- Ansible experience
- Scripting languages (i.e., Bash, Perl, YAML)
- AIX experience
- Solaris experience
- IT vulnerability management
- Security and compliance
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
- 6 years of server or other job-related experience
- Preferred: 7 years of experience working in infrastructure/server environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
