Immediate need for a talented Marketing Researcher. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Diego, CA (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $44 - $49/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the overarching research learning plan to meet the business’ and team objectives
- Determine best-practice research methodologies to align with business objectives, both primary and secondary.
- Design screeners, guides, and questionnaires that align with target segments and research objectives.
- Manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative results to uncover rich insights.
- Create detailed research reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine implications of research findings.
- Present results and implications to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills;Excellent communication skills
- Research foundational knowledge
- Marketing research experience
- Detail oriented
- 3-5+ years of experience in market research. Experience in the startup, tech, and/or fintech space is a plus.
- Experience with Qualitative and Quantitative market research
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Experience collaborating with third party vendors to construct surveys
- Experience working with third party vendors for recruitment of research participants, and leveraging automated systems to also recruit participants
- Experience preparing presentations and sharing out research results to a greater team
- Proactive with asking questions and following up as needed
- SPSS experience is a plus
- Must have experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, managing multiple studies concurrently with expertise in compelling insights communication.
- Must have experience developing and delivering end-to-end consumer research.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing and strategy teams to identify research objectives, share pertinent information, and develop effective company offerings.
- Manage in-season mystery shopping and competitive experience analysis, including recruitment, logistics management, internal training and data management.
