Description
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team in Newport, Minnesota, for a long-term contract position. In this role, you will contribute to a variety of creative projects, including print, digital, and video content, while ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced retail environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful visual assets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative design projects for print, digital, event materials, and signage.
Support video production efforts, including editing and creating engaging video content.
Design marketing materials such as flyers, catalogs, order forms, and internal documents based on creative briefs or templates.
Maintain brand consistency and adhere to graphic standards across all design outputs.
Perform image retouching to enhance visual quality and meet project specifications.
Collaborate with marketing and other departments to gather necessary assets and complete design deliverables.
Create visually compelling assets tailored for social media platforms in partnership with the communications team.
Stay informed about design trends, tools, and typography to bring fresh ideas to projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant design experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including expertise in video production and editing.
Strong understanding of both print and digital design principles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to work.
Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.
Knowledge of web design, animation, or natural goods-related products is advantageous.
