Job Description: Kubernetes Architect
Our client is looking for a Docker/Kubernetes expert that will be consulting on large scale Kubernetes projects for their enterprise clients in the financial services space. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) being a hands-on engineer, configuring, platform stability and performance, facilitating rapid RCA, risk analysis, and testing fixes / patches. The ideal candidate will have consultancy experience with Docker MSR product lines and experience standing up Kubernetes environments from scratch for enterprise level organizations.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years Kubernetes experience
- MKE product stack and releases experience is a MUST
- Client facing experience with Docker MSR product lines
- Expertise with Kubernetes start to finish in large scale environment
- Experience with Cloud Native technologies
- Expertise in all lines of Docker tools
- Experience supporting millions of financial transactions per second type of environment
- Ansible Deployment experience
- Networking BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) Lan/Wan, UNIX (Linux, Redhat, etc.)
- Kubernetes Certification (Plus)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
