Description
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Data Engineer to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role will act as a subject matter expert and technical leader in creating and managing data solutions across Salesforce platforms. You will play a key role in enhancing service delivery and citizen engagement through innovative Salesforce Public Sector Cloud and related technologies. This is a long-term contract position offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to cross-agency initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and external systems.
Optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows while adhering to Salesforce architectural best practices.
Develop strategies for data storage, normalization, and performance tuning across multiple Salesforce instances.
Lead data modeling efforts across Salesforce Clouds, including Public Sector Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Oversee data migration, deduplication, and cleansing processes to maintain system reliability and integrity.
Create AI-powered solutions within Salesforce platforms to support decision-making, customer service, and automation.
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate predictive models and advanced AI tools into Salesforce environments.
Implement data governance frameworks and standards, focusing on Salesforce ecosystems and cross-agency alignment.
Partner with stakeholders to define and enforce data governance policies, including ownership models and metadata management.
Provide comprehensive documentation and guidance for Salesforce integrations and data improvement strategies.
Requirements
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Salesforce Platform Developer II.
At least 4-6 years of experience as a Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer.
Advanced expertise with 7-9 years as a Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect.
Extensive knowledge with 7-9 years as a Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Architect.
Proven ability to design and optimize scalable data solutions using Salesforce technologies.
Strong background in API development and integration with external systems.
Experience with data governance practices, including metadata management and data cleansing.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools and their integration within Salesforce platforms.
