Our client of over 10 years is a well-established logistics and distribution leader, recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Chicagoland area. With thousands of products and hundreds of locations throughout the U.S. catering to both commercial and residential customers, they are experiencing extreme growth during a digital transformation. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Remote Digital Product Manager to join this dynamic, consumer-facing organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading digital initiatives across multiple platforms. You ll drive the migration of a major website to a unified tech stack, enhance the user experience across multiple domains, and optimize customer engagement with product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.

This is a contract to potential hire role with an end goal of growing their team
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead digital initiatives focused on increasing B2C traffic, conversion, retention, and engagement
- Own the roadmap for four consumer-facing websites, with an emphasis on performance, UX, and platform alignment
- Drive a multi-site consolidation and tech stack migration project from inception through execution
- Collaborate with marketing, data, engineering, and design teams to deliver optimized platform functionality
- Write and manage user stories, refine acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Integrate real-time shipping and carrier data into customer-facing platforms to improve delivery transparency
- Leverage project management tools (e.g., Asana, SharePoint) to track deliverables and keep teams aligned
- Utilize SEO tools and web analytics to monitor traffic, click-through rates, and identify areas for improvement
- Support continuous enhancement of site features through data-driven decision-making
- Interface regularly with stakeholders across all business levels, including executive leadership
Qualifications:
- 3 5 years of experience in product management within digital, retail, or e-commerce environments
- Proven ability to work within an Agile framework and manage cross-functional teams
- Strong experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including presentations to executive leadership (CIO, SVP, President)
- Demonstrated success in platform migrations or large-scale product launches
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with distributed teams
- Familiar with tools such as Asana, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Google Analytics
- Portfolio, case studies, or real-world success examples highly preferred
