Job Details
OneSparQ is looking for a Desktop Support Tech located onsite in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the desktop imaging process to ensure quick and efficient deployment of desktops and laptops.
- Lead the desktop imaging team in the creation of images, ensuring they include the latest software updates, drivers, and configurations.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance the desktop computing environment and implement new technologies.
- Manage the inventory of software licenses and hardware assets related to desktop imaging.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure the integrity of desktop images.
- Provide guidance and support for complex technical issues related to desktop imaging.
- Work closely with the service desk and support teams to resolve end-user issues related to desktop performance.
- Oversee the documentation and management of support tickets related to desktop imaging.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding desktop imaging and deployment.
Required Skills:
- 3+ year of experience imaging and deploying devices and working within Service Now
- Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and PC configuration and imaging
Additional Skills:
- Certifications in Microsoft, Dell, HP CompTIA, or other relevant IT fields
- Previous Team Lead Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant field
