Job Description:

SAP Datasphere Order-to-Cash Consultant (Energy Sector) Location: Remote (MS preferred), occasional client travel (expenses covered)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to lead Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes using both SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge in the energy sector, possess deep technical expertise in SAP Datasphere, and ideally have experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI. This is a high-impact, client-facing role with work performed remotely and occasional on-site visits fully reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP Datasphere data models to support O2C workflows across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between SAP Datasphere and operational systems utilizing best practice data integration patterns.
  • Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes (order management, pricing, billing, collections, revenue, AR reconciliation) with insights and analytics.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using SAC or Power BI for real-time O2C monitoring (plus if available).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with client teams to understand requirements, deliver O2C enhancements, and align on business outcomes.
  • Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement for data pipelines and O2C analytics.
  • Travel periodically to the client site in Mississippi; travel expenses covered.

Required Qualifications

  • U S Citizenship or .
  • Proven hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere implementations and data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Order-to-Cash processes and associated data flow both within SAP and between SAP/non-SAP systems.
  • Experience in the energy sector (utilities, oil & gas, renewables); understanding industry-specific O2C nuances.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Availability for immediate engagement; must be receptive to a hybrid rhythm of remote and occasional on-site work.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Power BI for building analytical dashboards.
  • Familiarity with non-SAP tools, integration technologies, or cloud data services that interface with SAP Datasphere.
  • Past consultancy or client-engagement experience in fast-paced environments.
