Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Operations
- Perform continuous health checks and real-time monitoring of Telco Core network functions and containerized applications.
- Use observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, or OneConsole) to track system health, resource usage, and service metrics.
- Acknowledge, validate, and log alerts triggered by monitoring systems.
- Understand platform and application-level telemetry data to identify symptoms of degraded service.
Incident Handling & Escalation
- Perform first-level diagnosis to isolate faults (log analysis, symptom matching, known errors).
- Document issues in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) with clear categorization and impact statements.
- Escalate incidents to Tier 2 support based on defined runbooks and escalation matrix.
Runbook Execution
- Execute predefined operational SOPs and L1 playbooks for alert remediation (e.g., pod restarts, basic config verifications).
- Track and report progress on ticket resolutions during shifts.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with Tier 2/Tier 3 teams for unresolved/complex incidents.
- Participate in shift handover activities ensuring knowledge transfer.
- Maintain shift logs, incident timelines, and daily activity reports.

- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
- CCNA / CompTIA Network+
- Any certification related to Kubernetes/Cloud Monitoring
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
