Job Description

The SAP S/4 HANA Regional Program Manager will serve as the Americas regional leader for our client's transformational ERP implementation program. This role operates as the regional extension of the core PMO team, working from the Dallas time zone to orchestrate the S/4 HANA rollout across all countries within the Americas region through May/June 2026 and beyond.

This position combines strategic program management with hands-on technical business analysis expertise. You'll manage virtual teams of Country Leads, Change Network roles, and local Business Analyst leads while coordinating with global and regional System Integrator partners. The role requires both big-picture program oversight—including budget and risk management—and detailed technical work such as documenting business processes, managing data migration activities, and ensuring successful UAT, training, cut-over, go-live, and hypercare phases.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Americas regional program manager for SAP S/4 HANA rollout activities across multiple countries
  • Manage and lead virtual teams including Country Leads, Change Network roles, and local BA leads throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee all rollout activities from Analysis phase through Support phase according to the established rollout framework
  • Coordinate with global and regional System Integrator teams on timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Manage regional program budget and execute comprehensive risk management processes
  • Document existing business processes and develop detailed business process flow diagrams
  • Capture, analyze, and validate requirements from local stakeholders across the region
  • Support Country Leads in coordinating data migration, local interface builds, UAT, training, cut-over/go-live, and hypercare activities
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing program reports to stakeholders
  • Acquire and maintain data from primary and secondary sources throughout the implementation
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets to inform program decisions
  • Lead technical projects related to SAP/S4 HANA implementation and process improvements
  • Conduct program meetings and produce comprehensive meeting minutes and status reports
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs across the region
  • Identify and drive new process improvement opportunities throughout the transformation

Required Experience/Skills

Program & Project Management:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ERP project/program management roles
  • Proven experience managing multiple SAP ERP rollout projects, preferably SAP S/4 HANA
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities within constrained timelines
  • Experience working in decentralized organizations using virtual collaboration methods

Technical SAP Expertise:

  • 5-7 years hands-on experience with SAP implementations
  • Strong SAP S/4 HANA expertise (critical requirement)
  • Broad understanding of SAP ERP functional and technical aspects including processes, architecture, and development
  • Programming background with technical implementation experience
  • Power BI and SQL proficiency for data analysis and reporting

Business Analysis & Documentation:

  • Proven ability to develop and produce business process flow diagrams
  • Experience documenting existing business processes and translating them into technical requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
  • Expertise in data management and data transfer activities
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings

Communication & Leadership:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to conduct meetings and produce comprehensive documentation
  • Self-driven and motivated with proven ability to lead and support team environments
  • Structured and process-oriented approach with experience driving change and identifying best practices
  • Strong ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and approve solutions being created
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to learn new tasks quickly when presented with change

Nice-to-Haves

  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or similar)
  • Previous experience with global ERP transformation programs at enterprise scale
  • Experience in manufacturing, security, or related industries
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP implementations
  • Experience working with major System Integrator partners on large-scale implementations

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent discipline required.
