Title : Data Warehouse Architect

Location: on-site in Sacramento, CA 2x-3x per week

Duration: 24+ months

Prior feedback: sonam s resume and answers confirm that she is more focused on the Infrastructure side of the house with ADW and OCI, but she admits that she doesn't have experience or expertise with ODI, which is also key to this role, as that will be the tool that is used to move data from source to the target EDW, so where Prakash from last week was really strong talking about the EDW process and architecture/design but fell short on the Infrastructure (ADW and OCI), this candidate is the exact opposite, and is missing core EDW expertise (ETL, Data Warehouse Design, etc.) and focused on DB Migrations, ADW Admin, and OCI Admin - if we could combine sonam and prakash, that would be the perfect candidate, knowing that is a difficult ask, if we could get someone like prakash, with a little more knowledge and hands-on expertise with ADW and OCI at the infrastructure level, that would work also - our challenge to date has been that most of the candidates are strong in one and almost non-existent with the other.

ODI is also a key role also along with ADW/OCI. Yes, EDW process and architecture/design is important but need the ADW/OCI skills too. Also, if the candidate is only strong on OCI/ADW and is missing core EDW expertise (ETL, DW design, etc.) they won't fit.

MUST HAVES

Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse experience (Oracle ADW) & Experience designing other enterprise data warehouses.

Experience with migration from on-prem to Oracle ADW

Rolling sleeves up and working on a small team.

Excellent communication skills

Bing on site 2-3 days a week.

ETL/ELT experience.

Must Haves Tech:

-Oracle Autonomous DW Cloud so Data Architect is leading the team that is fully implementing (Oracle AWDC). Need to have set up Oracle AWDC before).

-Data Architect or DW Architect (similar) Lot of ETL on resume. DW Set up for Analytics and BI. NO DBA works here.

-Oracle Cloud, Infrastructure experience

-Oracle - all over

I have done this 5x before - more than once - brining data - warehouse - large amount of data - Put in resume - how much data etc

- they want to see Autonomous Datawarehouse experience and Autonomous Database

- SQL questions - expert level
