Job Description:

Capgemini is seeking a Google Cloud Data Architect who will be responsible for a large-scale Cloud Migration program for financial services.

Responsibilities:

• The role is for a large scale Cloud Migration program for a financial services client.
• The focus is on migration of data and analytical workloads from on premise systems like SQL Server, SSIS, to Google Cloud Platform platforms including Big Query, IAM,GCS, Dataflow, Composer, Data Proc, etc.
• Deep Understanding of the Contact Center Domain
• Contribute to data architecture, design and best practices for a framework that enables meta data driven, distributed data processing
• Lead the development of patterns, standards and best practices in the data engineering and solutions space
• Review and identify data solutions in collaboration with the technology teams across the enterprise
• Assess data implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external standards, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to the creation of blueprints and deployment patterns for migration of data and services from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Ensure data architectures, platforms and solutions are properly documented and updated periodically.

Skill Requirements:

• Over all 15 years of IT experience of which last 5 years' experience using Python/ Java in Application Development, Database Design, Data processing, Data Warehouse.
• Experience architecting data solutions on Google Cloud Platform e.g. Big Data Projects, Data Migrations, BI, etc.. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the client organization for Google Cloud Platform end-to-end architecture and management
• Experience in migrating at least one medium to large application/data from on-prem to Google Cloud Platform
• Deep understanding of ETL development, data pipeline using Python, Airflow.
• Deep understanding of ETL development and tools SQL Server/SSIS/Python
• Deep understanding of data warehousing ETL concepts (esp. change data capture)
• Experience documenting business requirements, flow diagrams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience working in client collaborative environment on Data driven projects.
• Knowledge of Contact Center domain is preferred.
