Description

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team in Oxford, Massachusetts. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions, leveraging your expertise in AWS technologies and automation tools. This position requires a strong background in cloud engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient systems. This is a hybrid position, onsite 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructures using AWS tools and services.

Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes.

Design and deploy automation solutions for system provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.

Monitor system performance using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and recommend improvements.

Manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.

Work on API development and integration to enhance system functionality.

Perform cluster analysis to optimize resource allocation and system efficiency.

Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards through rigorous testing and validation.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers who are newer to the field, fostering team growth.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.

Proficiency in AWS technologies, including EC2, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling.

Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible and backup technologies.

Solid understanding of API development and integration.

Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and management.

Relevant certifications in AWS or cloud engineering are required
