  • Repackaging of application using Install Shield, WISE Package Studio, Orca or by creating packages through SCCM.
  • To ensure that the package complies with all client Standards
  • Analyzing legacy setups and repackaging them to create windows installer packages.
  • Creating upgrades for older versions of software.
  • Creating transforms for customizing existing windows installer packages.
  • Managing Conflict for the applications.
  • Creating Windows Installer packages for H/w dependent and Driver related applications
  • Follow N & N-1 versions for the tool and ensure we get those upgraded on time.
  • Ticket SLA Adherence and process adherence is must.
  • Should have good strong experience on creating package for Adobe and MS Products too.
  • Testing application in a Lock down environment

Standard expectations and duties for a SCCM Application Packaging Engineer:

  • Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), cloud networks, servers, and other data communications networks.
  • Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
  • Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
  • Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches.
  • Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance or standard repairs to networking components or equipment.
  • Install new hardware or software systems or components, ensuring integration with existing network systems.
  • Create or update technical documentation for network installations or changes to existing installations.
