Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Billing SME with hands-on expertise in CSS Billing Systems, excluding development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, offering deep functional knowledge in billing processes, customer billing lifecycle, and integration points with Finance and Sales Order (SO) functions. Experience with Customer/1 Billing, Finance, and SO modules is essential, but the primary focus is on the CSS Billing System.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the functional expert for the CSS Billing System, ensuring end-to-end understanding of billing lifecycle and system capabilities.
  • Lead requirement analysis and define solutions in coordination with cross-functional teams including Finance, SO, and Customer Service.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure billing configurations and functionalities meet business needs.
  • Coordinate across global teams to ensure solution design aligns with enterprise architecture and compliance standards.
  • Work closely with project managers to track deliverables, timelines, and risks, ensuring successful and timely implementations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality and secure project solutions.
  • Prepare and share weekly status reports with customers and internal leadership, highlighting progress, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Support the analysis and reporting of project financials including P&L reports.
  • Ensure adherence to global project management methodologies and governance models.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Billing SME with specialization in CSS Billing System.
  • Strong understanding of Customer/1 Billing, Finance, and Sales Order integration.
  • Proven ability to lead functional design, solution identification, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid experience managing cross-functional teams and multi-country project deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with project reporting tools and global delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
