About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Freshservice Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Freshservice ITSM platform. This is a contract role based in Phoenix or Denver, ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in IT service management tools and a passion for process improvement and ITIL best practices.



As a Freshservice Consultant, you will work closely with IT leadership, service desk teams, and business stakeholders to assess needs, tailor workflows, and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.



Responsibilities:



  • Lead and execute Freshservice implementation, migration, or optimization projects.

  • Customize workflows, automations, service catalog, incident, problem, change, and asset management modules to meet organizational requirements.

  • Integrate Freshservice with third-party systems (e.g., Active Directory, monitoring tools, CMDBs, etc.).

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications within Freshservice.

  • Train internal teams and provide documentation for Freshservice best practices, governance, and ongoing support.

  • Evaluate current ITSM maturity and identify areas for improvement using the Freshservice platform.

  • Ensure alignment with ITIL practices and compliance standards.

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adoption.



Requirements:



  • 3+ years of experience implementing or configuring Freshservice or similar ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy).

  • Strong understanding of ITIL v3 or v4 framework and ITSM principles.

  • Proven ability to design and optimize service catalogs, SLA rules, automation workflows, and ticketing processes.

  • Experience with data migration, system integration, and API usage within Freshservice.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.



Nice to Have:



  • Freshworks/Freshservice certification(s)

  • Prior consulting experience in an enterprise or MSP setting

  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, or iPaaS platforms for workflow integration

  • Experience in CMDB management and asset discovery tools

  • Background in IT infrastructure or cybersecurity environments
