Job Summary:

As an Oracle Financials General Ledger Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Financials General Ledger module. Excellent functional knowledge and hands-on experience on Oracle ERP offerings such as GL, and subledger modules would be expected for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Design and Implementation: Architect, design, and implement Oracle General Ledger. Ensure the alignment of system architecture with business objectives and requirements.
  2. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Oracle GL to meet client-specific needs. Develop and implement enhancements, extensions, and custom solutions as required.
  3. Integration Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle GL with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Provide expertise in data migration strategies and execution.
  4. Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on best practices in Oracle GL architecture. Stay updated on industry trends, Oracle updates, and emerging technologies.
  5. Project Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business processes and requirements related to Oracle GL. Provide expert advice and consultation to optimize and enhance existing Oracle GL implementations.
  6. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle GL. Provide ongoing support and collaborate with the support team to ensure system stability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10+ years of Implementation / Support experience in implementing Oracle ERP Applications.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle GL Architect, with support experience.
  • At least 4 Oracle Cloud Projects implementations, working as General Ledger lead functional consultant.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP modules, architecture, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Oracle certifications in relevant modules are a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills using MS Office tools, particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc) and good understanding of GL processes, Data Conversions, OTBI, FRS & SmartView.
