Business Systems Analyst IV
Charlotte, NC (Hybrid onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs)
12-month Contract
Pay Rate: $65.00 - $71.00 per hr.

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. This role serves as a liaison between business units and the IT department, ensuring that software applications meet operational needs and are effectively implemented.
Primary Responsibilities

• Formulate and define specifications for operating software programming applications.
• Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and devise computer programs, systems, and related procedures to process data.
• Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions.
• Develop coding logic flowcharts and program specifications.
• Encode, test, debug, and install operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments.
• Review progress and evaluate results, reporting inconsistencies to management and suggesting problem resolutions and business process improvements.
• Participate in on-call support rotation after hours and/or weekends as required.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) years of related experience Or Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of related experience
• Experience providing application support, including troubleshooting.
• Experience with business intelligence tools.
• Experience creating relational database queries.
• Familiarity with agile and/or waterfall methodologies.
• Project management and testing experience.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and execute multiple concurrent activities.
• Ability to use application programming interface (API) tools.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrates a complex working knowledge of systems and software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Advanced ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of applicable testing tools and effective implementation.
• Problem-solving and priority management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Bonus Skills

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
