SAP Lead / Developer
Overview
This role is responsible for building and owning internal SAP capability as the organization transitions away from heavy vendor dependency. The SAP Lead / Developer will serve as a hands-on technical lead and primary IT liaison to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and support the SAP landscape, providing day-to-day break/fix support and minor enhancements
- Lead configuration, light development, and ongoing optimization of SAP platforms
- Own and drive SAP upgrades and enhancements
- Act as the primary IT partner to business stakeholders, translating requirements into SAP solutions
- Manage and oversee third-party vendors for larger SAP initiatives and implementations
- Ensure SAP best practices, stability, and long-term scalability
- Lead-level, hands-on SAP experience in enterprise environments
- Strong functional and technical experience across:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SuccessFactors
- Employee Central & Payroll
- Workforce Management
- Experience supporting and enhancing live SAP environments, not just project implementations
- Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands-on execution
- Strong business-facing and communication skills
- Consultative mindset with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders
- Comfortable owning an environment end-to-end, from daily support to major initiatives
- Experience working alongside system integrators and managing vendor relationships
