Job Title: Senior Engineer Project Manager

Location: On-site in Texas (some flexibility during training)
Travel: No travel required
Schedule: mostly on-site, hands-on role

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager with an engineering background to lead and manage sustaining and R&D projects at our medical device facility in Texas. You'll work on products like microwave ablation and cryotherapy systems used for cancer treatment.

This role involves working closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and leadership teams to keep projects on track and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple engineering projects, from planning to implementation

  • Create project plans, schedules, and updates for stakeholders

  • Coordinate work across different teams (engineering, manufacturing, etc.)

  • Work with external suppliers and partners to keep projects on schedule

  • Identify risks and solve problems to keep projects on track

  • Ensure all work follows company procedures and medical device regulations

  • Help prepare business cases and support decision-making for new projects

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, biomedical, software, etc.)

  • Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of design controls, change management, and managing multiple projects

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Experience using tools like MS Project, Jira, or Monday.com

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

  • PMP certification is a plus, but not required
