Job Details
This role provides essential, day to day operational support for the sales and distribution functions of a small sporting goods distributor. The primary purpose is to maintain business continuity by executing routine tasks and handling immediate sales logistics issues while the core team focuses on the new SAP SD implementation.
Key Responsibilities - Order-to-Cash Processing: - Accurately process sales orders from initial entry through to invoicing. - Coordinate with the warehouse for picking, packing, and shipping confirmation. - Customer Sales Support: - Serve as the primary point of contact for routine customer inquiries e.g., order status, product availability, delivery times. - Assist the sales team by preparing basic reports and handling administrative tasks. - Distribution & Logistics: - Monitor and track shipments; communicate delays or issues to relevant parties. - Process returns and credits according to company policy. - System Maintenance Legacy: - Ensure data accuracy within the current system (non-SAP) for all in-flight orders and stock levels. Key Requirements - Proven experience in an administrative, sales support, or logistics role. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word). - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. |
