Job Details

VDart Group is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator Principal with strong expertise in eDiscovery and digital forensics. This role will be key in supporting legal and compliance teams with Microsoft Purview-driven eDiscovery activities and defensible data collection methodologies. The ideal candidate brings both deep technical infrastructure experience and hands-on knowledge of forensic tools and enterprise data collection.

What You ll Do:

  • Lead provisioning, configuration, operation, and support of IT systems, hardware, and infrastructure applications.
  • Support legal with Microsoft Purview eDiscovery tasks, including data collection, search, review set creation, early case assessment (ECA), reporting, exports, and outbound transfers.
  • Execute digital evidence collection from mobile devices, laptops, enterprise platforms, and cloud storage in a defensible, repeatable manner.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure best practices.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise, guiding both technical and legal stakeholders on eDiscovery and forensics processes.

What We re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in IT system administration and infrastructure management.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery workflows.
  • Background in digital forensics and evidence collection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with forensic and eDiscovery tools such as:
  • OpenText EnCase (preferred)
  • Magnet Forensics Verakey, Cellebrite, Pinpoint Labs
  • Logicube or similar asset collection tools
  • Relativity RelOne or similar eDiscovery platforms
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects or functional teams.
