Sr. Technical Product Manager Next-Gen POS & Credit Card Payments
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite) - Only Local Or near by candidates
Duration: 12 months+ (extension based on business needs)

About the Role
We re seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Next-Gen POS and digital payment solutions in a high-volume QSR/Retail environment. This role requires a mix of product ownership, technical depth, and payments domain expertise to deliver seamless, secure, and innovative guest experiences across in-store and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
POS Systems (Retail/QSR Focus)
Own the roadmap for next-gen POS payment systems optimized for speed, reliability, and ease of use (cashier/barista workflows).
Deliver scalable POS payment solutions to improve throughput and reduce service time.
Collaborate with store operations & engineering to modernize POS architecture for omnichannel ordering.
Drive solutions for credit card acceptance (NFC Tap-to-Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EMV chip).
Oversee payment device integrations Verifone, Toast, Ingenico, Clover, Square.
Digital Payments & Wallet
Define and implement solutions for digital payments (QR Scan & Pay, in-app payments).
Manage PCI-compliant storage and tokenized payment systems.
Oversee high-volume payment orchestration APIs (millions of daily transactions).
Lead network tokenization, least-cost routing, and mobile wallet integrations.
Manage processor integrations CyberSource, WorldPay, Chase, PayPal, Venmo.
Fraud, Risk & Operational Efficiency
Build real-time fraud detection systems across payment & loyalty flows.
Automate fraud remediation & account takeover prevention (ATO).
Launch reconciliation & refund systems to streamline financial ops.
Partner with finance & analytics teams to resolve payment discrepancies.
Qualifications
5+ years in technical product management (POS, Payments, or FinTech).
Strong technical background in payment systems, PCI compliance, tokenization, fraud prevention.
Proven track record scaling high-availability platforms & integrating with third-party processors.
Experience in QSR/Retail, FinTech, or Payment Platforms preferred.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Supply Chain coursework is a plus).
