RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Business Development Manager II to join their team in San Diego, California (CA). This is a hybrid role and requires a minimum of 3 days in office per week.
Overview:
The Partnership Marketing Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end relationship, marketing plans and execution of company partner channel marketing with external partners (like Financial Institutions, Payroll, etc.) who market directly to their customers. This person will be responsible for partner contract renewal, proposing deal terms, developing robust marketing plans designed to deliver growth in traffic, the company units/revenue. This position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of partner accounts and requires strong external relationship building, marketing, account management and analytical skills. During tax season (Dec-Apr), the Partnership Marketing manager is responsible for analyzing daily/weekly dashboard performance and reviewing marketing tactic results to uncover areas to improve, pivot, and optimize. This role works closely with cross-functional internal teams like Marketing, BD, Legal, Finance, Operations, Analytics to deliver winning portfolio results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage complex relationships with external partners, driving day-to-day engagement for company distribution
* Own the partner annual sales planning process, aligning plans with overall partner strategies
* Develop and evolve the strategy and relationship with partners, managing the lifecycle of acquiring, growing, and retaining them
* Meet and exceed target goals for units and revenue within an assigned portfolio of accounts
* Understand partners' specific marketing channels and business drivers to create effective joint marketing programs
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's degree is preferred
* 5-7 years of relevant experience in partnership management, account management, marketing strategy or business development
* Track Record: Proven track record of driving growth in previous roles; Software as a service or financial services experience is a plus
* Relationship Building: A genuine enthusiasm for building and nurturing professional relationships; Values responsiveness and attention to partner needs
* Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve customer issues
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze performance data, create forecasts, and use insights to make strategic recommendations
* Independence: Ability to operate independently with high personal standards of excellence
* Prioritization: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Technical Skills: Proficiency with Digital marketing, Google drive, Slack and some experience with Salesforce
* Business Acumen: Ability to comprehend service agreements and partner contracts
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
