Position: Data Architect
Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-site)
Duration: 1 Year
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of high-performing ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Build and manage complex ETL workflows ensuring data accuracy, quality, and security.
- Leverage Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Purview for scalable data management and analytics.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance, reliability, and throughput.
- Implement data governance and compliance standards using Azure Purview.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a technical mentor.
- Maintain detailed documentation and establish ETL best practices.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in ETL development and data engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ADF, Azure Cloud, Databricks, Synapse, and Purview.
- Strong proficiency in Spark, Python, and/or Scala.
- Expertise in SQL and complex data modeling.
- In-depth understanding of data security, governance, and RBAC in Azure.
- Proven ability to build high-performance, scalable ETL pipelines.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Fundamentals.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate.
