The Opportunity

Tasks: Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Serves as a SME for business topics for multiple IT delivery functions. Serves as a conduit between IT delivery functions and the business functions through which their technical requirements flow. Employs creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in the search for technology solutions designed to support analyses and business need. Proactively communicates and collaborates with customers on the analysis of business needs and requirements to deliver solution artifacts as needed. Leads analysis and verification of technical requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformance to standards. Leads traceability of approved and base lined artifacts through the software development life cycle to include specifications, design, development, testing, implementation and defect prioritization. Provides guidance and review of test artifacts to ensure coverage of testable requirements. Provides certification and actively participates in defect management activities to confirm requirements are being met. Contributes to project successes by partnering with Program Management to understand program plans and strategy. Acts as Agile SME to teams, departmental teams, product owners, and management. Supports and educates product owners and product managers, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog and decision making. Participates in Scrum Master community of practice and mentors other Scrum Masters. Actively participates in Community of Practice discussions across different functional areas and Agile Release Trains (ARTs), as well as facilitates sessions on different topics of interest across the community. May telecommute.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a IT Systems Analyst-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following:
  • Scrum/Agile Tools: Kanban Boards, Iteration Backlogs, Product backlogs, Impediment Logger, Risk Assessment charts, Iteration Burn Down/Burn Up Chart, Release Burn Down chart, Team Velocity, RTC, JIRA, Agile Central, Rally, Scrum Walls, SAFe, and Lean Agile framework.
  • Change and Release Management: ServiceNow, JIRA, Agile Central, Rally, RTC, and Gitlab
  • Test and Project Management Tools: Qtest, HP ALM, RTC, Star Team, Gantt Charts, Gitlab, project share points, iGrafx, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power point, and Creating Wiki Pages
  • Databases: Oracle DB, IBM DB, and SQL.
  • Automation Tools: Selenium Java, Selenium WebDriverIO, Selenium Python, HP UFT (QTP), Jenkins, Sauce Labs, Cucumber, qtest, and VB script
  • Terminals: Git Bash, Putty, and Splunk logs
  • Service Tools: HP Service Test, Advanced Rest Client, SOAP UI, and REST API Testing.
  • Defect Management Tools: JIRA, ServiceNow, RTC, Gitlab, TFS, StarTeam, and qtest.
  • Testing Types: Functional, Unit, Component Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance, Release, Prod QA, End to End Testing, Post Prod Validations, Mainframes applications, Database, Service, Accessibility, Security and Performance testing.
