Position Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud EPM Developer to join a high-impact team supporting ERP transformation initiative. This role will focus on integrating data from PeopleSoft to Workday, leveraging Oracle Cloud Applications and EPM to ensure accurate and seamless business continuity. The ideal candidate will play a key role in both developing and analyzing financial data pipelines and applications.
This role is approximately 75% development and 25% analysis, requiring strong technical expertise, particularly in Cloud EPM tools and Python scripting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and support the configuration of Oracle EPM solutions, including Calc Scripts, Business Rules, and Data Management/Data Exchange Rules, with a focus on EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
- Migrate and optimize approx. 215 business rules/calc scripts and 66 input forms/business rules from the legacy G&A system to the new Oracle environment.
- Implement and support Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), including configuring application code to meet custom reconciliation requirements.
- Perform data extraction and loading processes using Python, API scripting, and EPM Automate (preferred).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business processes for budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation.
- Analyze current data pipelines and reconciliation processes to identify and implement automation opportunities.
- Ensure seamless data transfers between systems and troubleshoot issues during data movement between General Ledger and Sub Ledger.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 10 years of relevant experience.
- Recent and strong experience with Python scripting for automation and data pulls.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud tools, especially EPBCS and ARCS.
- Solid knowledge of REST APIs and experience scripting API calls.
- Experience in data warehousing, relational database structures, and ETL automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
