Role: Senior Business Systems Analyst NextGen Program
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid) - 3 times a week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Tools : Enterprise Architect (EA), Miro, Visio, SOX, Finsig. Tosca , UiPath and good experience in Agile and Scrum.
Position Summary
- The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will play a critical role in delivering the NextGen platform, supporting the definition and implementation of a Unified Calculation Engine, metadata-driven logic services, and modular business capabilities.
- This role involves deep collaboration within SCRUM teams and with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technical domains. The BSAwill use tools such as Enterprise Architect (EA) and Miro to model domain concepts, capability maps, and data flows. They will also document integration payloads and dialect requirements (e.g., JSON/XML), ensuring alignment between user needs and technical implementation-without being responsible for coding or building API endpoints.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's preferred.
Experience
- 6+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in enterprise software or platform modernization initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architect (EA) or similar architecture modeling tools. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a SCRUM team.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, modular system design, and data-driven business logic.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Architect (EA), Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or similar tools.
- Strong background in business process modeling and functional requirements documentation.
- Understanding of integration payload structure and dialects (e.g., JSON, XML), with the ability to document but not code integration endpoints.
- Exposure to automation tools (Tosca, UiPath) and audit frameworks (SOX, FINSIG).
- Highly effective in agile/SCRUM environments
- Visual communicator with modeling and documentation discipline
- Comfortable working in iterative design and delivery contexts
- Structured thinker who values automation, reusability, and clarity
