Job Title: RAN Engineer
Location: Multiple Locations Across the U.S.

(Onsite may require regional travel)
Employment Type: W2 Contract or C2C
Duration: Long-term project
Citizenship: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship)


Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineers to support ongoing network deployment, integration, and optimization projects across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LTE and 5G networks, be proficient in base station commissioning, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of RAN nodes (e.g., eNodeB, gNodeB).

  • Execute 5G/LTE network upgrades, feature activations, and reconfigurations.

  • Conduct field validation, drive testing, and performance verification as needed.

  • Collaborate with RF, Transport, and Core teams to resolve network issues.

  • Use vendor-specific tools (Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, etc.) for configuration and performance monitoring.

  • Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and customer handover.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of integration steps, parameters, and issue resolutions.

  • Ensure compliance with company and client safety, security, and quality standards.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on RAN engineering or integration experience (LTE / 5G preferred).

  • Strong understanding of RAN architecture, KPIs, and call flows.

  • Proficiency in one or more vendor technologies (Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, or Altiostar).

  • Experience with site integration tools, OSS systems, and remote connectivity platforms.

  • Knowledge of transport (Microwave/IP backhaul) and alarm management.

  • Ability to interpret RF design documents, site configuration data, and topology diagrams.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under field or lab conditions.

  • Valid driver s license and ability to travel to sites if required.


Preferred:

  • Vendor certifications (e.g., Nokia BTS, Ericsson NodeB, Samsung 5G, etc.)

  • Experience with optimization tools (Actix, TEMS, NEMO, etc.)

  • Previous work with major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, DISH, etc.)
