Senior SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Basis Consultant to lead the
technical design, implementation, and support of our SAP landscapes. This role is critical in
ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our SAP S/4 HANA systems. The ideal
candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, system architecture, cloud integrations,
and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, planning, and deployment of the latest version of the SAP
S/4HANA landscapes across environments (DEV/QAS/PRD).
Design and implement SAP Basis strategies for scalability, performance, high
availability, and disaster recovery.
Oversee all SAP technical upgrades, Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing, and HANA
database tuning.
Act as the primary escalation point for all critical Basis issues and performance
bottlenecks.
Ensure security compliance, system hardening, and adherence to change control
policies.
Manage and optimize SAP Transport Management System (TMS) across multiple
systems.
Collaborate closely with SAP functional leads, infrastructure, security, and business
stakeholders.
Evaluate and adopt emerging SAP technologies including SAP BTP, Fiori, and hybrid
cloud strategies.
Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related
discipline.
10+ years of SAP Basis experience with at least 5+ years in an SAP Private Cloud
(RISE) related administrative activities
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux environments, OS-level scripting, SAP HANA DB
Administration and automation tools.
Strong knowledge in setting up Single-sign-on (SSO), LDAP, SAP BTP, SAC, SFTP, and
external system connectivity related settings
Skilled in managing SAP landscape related various activities e.g. client copy,
performance tuning, transport path set-up, email connectivity set-up
Expertise in SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP ChaRM, and SAP CALM.
Experience with SAP system migrations (classical, DMO, SUM) and cloud hosting
(AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Proven ability to lead complex SAP Basis projects and manage multiple concurrent
priorities.
Familiarity with GRC, role-based security design, and system compliance frameworks.

Preferred Certifications:
SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP HANA and/or S/4HANA.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure preferred).
