Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and implement continuous improvement projects across the organization, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.
2. Utilize your expertise in plant operations, polymer, acrylics, cell casting, design of experiments, empirical design, coating, annealing, mixing, R&D, yield improvement, and extrusion to drive improvements.
3. Collaborate with various teams to identify areas of improvement and develop appropriate solutions.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
5. Train staff on new processes and procedures to ensure smooth implementation.
6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, making adjustments as necessary.
7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in the manufacturing industry and incorporate relevant practices into our operations.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physical Sciences or a related field is a must.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Green Belt certification is a must.
4. Extensive experience with thermoforming, sheet metal, plastic, and plastics.
5. Strong knowledge of plant operations, polymer, acrylics, cell casting, design of experiments, empirical design, coating, annealing, mixing, R&D, yield improvement, and extrusion.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think critically and strategically.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in using various software and tools for data analysis and project management.
