Job Details

Role : UX Designer II
Location : Atlanta GA
Contract
Responsibilities
Own UX Design for key segments of our retail software, including point-of-sale and back-office platforms, from initial concepts to final visuals and handoff
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Carry out research, including usability testing and translate insights into informed designs
Present & defend designs to key stakeholders
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define problems, gather requirements, and ensure designs are executed properly
Maintain and contribute to design libraries to ensure a cohesive and consistent UI across platforms
Produce high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interaction specs using Figma
Work with your Design Manager to balance user needs with business goals, technical constraints, and platform guidelines
Manage your design pipeline & milestones, including scoping and timelines with minimal oversight
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of UX/UI design experience for touch screen
Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking, research, interaction design, and UI design skills
Solid understanding of usability principles, design systems, and accessibility standards
Proficiency in Figma for creating responsive designs and prototypes
Proactive and comfortable managing your own projects
Values feedback, professional growth, and working in a collaborative, global team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing for POS systems, retail inventory tools, or back-office platforms, especially for global markets
Organized and detail-oriented in documentation, project tracking and stakeholder management
Demonstrates strong communication skills and has an ability to uncover latent user needs and anticipate gaps early in design process
Experience facilitating customer interviews and/or workshops
