Job Description: Senior AI Engineer (Databricks Platform Specialist)
Location: King of Prussia, PA (Onsite Full-Time - Local Candidates Only)

About the Role:
seeking a highly proficient and certified AI Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is central to designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge AI and Generative AI solutions on the Databricks platform. The ideal candidate is not just a practitioner but a champion of the Databricks ecosystem, with a proven track record of leveraging its full suite of tools—from MosaicAI and Unity Catalog to MLflow and Delta Lake—to solve complex business challenges and drive intelligent workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Generative AI & LLM Solution Development: Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Generative AI solutions, including advanced RAG pipelines, Agentic AI systems, and LLM-integrated applications using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
  • End-to-End ML Pipeline Ownership: Architect, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade AI/ML models and training pipelines within the Databricks environment, ensuring high efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Databricks Platform Mastery: Expertly utilize core Databricks features including Unity Catalog (governance, lineage), Delta Live Tables (data validation, ETL), MLflow (experiment tracking, model registry), Feature Store, and Vector Search.
  • MLOps & Production Engineering: Implement robust MLOps practices using Databricks Data Assets Bundles for CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and model serving to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and retraining of models.
  • Cloud-Native Integration: Integrate AI models into production systems using APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, distributed computing, and the Databricks platform, continuously improving our methodologies and ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Certification: Mandatory possession of the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer credential.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions, with significant expertise specifically on the Databricks platform.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark.
    • Deep, practical knowledge of SparkDatabricks Notebooks, and the wider Databricks ecosystem.
    • Hands-on experience with MosaicAIUnity CatalogDelta Live Tables (DLT), and Data Assets Bundles.
  • Generative AI Expertise: Demonstrable experience with Transformer-based models, LLMs, vector databases, embedding techniques, and the construction of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • MLOps & DevOps: Solid understanding of MLOps principles, CI/CD for machine learning, and containerization technologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
