Description
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated communication strategies that support executive visibility, thought leadership, and business priorities.
Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders, crafting messaging that reflects their voice and aligns with TruStage's mission and values.
Lead communication efforts during crisis situations, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders.
Create compelling content including speeches, employee messages, media statements, and leadership communications.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across channels and audiences.
Monitor communication effectiveness and adjust strategies based on data and feedback.
Stay attuned to industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities to enhance executive engagement.
Lead internal and external communications strategy for the CIO and her leadership team (6 direct reports).
Develop and execute communication plans across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
Partner with the media relations team to support external visibility: interviews, LinkedIn strategy, speaking engagements, and industry content.
Craft internal messaging for an audience of over 1,000 employees and contractors.
Translate complex technical language into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences.
Support fireside chats, video content creation (basic recording/editing), and executive storytelling.
Provide change management and crisis communication support.
Build and maintain a communications roadmap for the CIO's office.
Collaborate with the Creative Services team for more complex design and production needs.
Demonstrate comfort and competency using AI tools in communication workflows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience in corporate communications, ideally in fintech, insurtech, engineering, or large enterprise environments.
Proven experience supporting C-suite executives, especially in IT or technical domains.
Strong writing and editing skills-writing samples required.
Experience with change management and crisis communications.
Familiarity with legal review processes and past involvement in COVID-related communications is a plus.
Technically minded with the ability to translate IT concepts into everyday language.
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
