Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Analyst with hands-on experience in Liaison (now Open Text/Liaison ALLOY platform) and strong proficiency in SQL Server. This role is responsible for managing, supporting, and enhancing our EDI processes to ensure smooth and accurate exchange of data with trading partners. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage day-to-day operations of EDI transactions and integrations using the Liaison

EDI platform.

* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transmission issues, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange.

* Collaborate with internal business teams and external trading partners to onboard new

EDI connections, maps, and processes.

* Design, test, and implement EDI maps and workflows for claims, eligibility, payments, and other transaction sets (HIPAA X12, ANSI, etc.).

* Develop SQL Server queries and tables to support EDI data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.

* Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations related to EDI and database platforms.

* Ensure compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) a

Required Skills:

* 3+ years of experience working with an EDI platform, with direct hands-on expertise in Liaison strongly preferred.

* SQL Server skills, including T-SQL and data analysis.

* Solid understanding of EDI standards (HIPAA X12, EDIFACT, ANSI) and healthcare payer/provider transaction sets (e.g., 270/271 eligibility, 837 claims, 835 remittance).

* Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience collaborating with trading partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Preferred:

* Experience in healthcare payer or healthcare data exchange environments.

* Familiarity with ETL processes and integration with ERP or claims platforms.

* Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, APis, or cloud-based integration platforms a plus.

* Strong documentation and communication skills.
