Ellucian Banner System Administrator / DBA - Ellucian Banner REQUIRED

***MUST have strong experience working with the Ellucian Banner Student Information System product.***

Fully remote, direct hire position.

Versatile System Administrator / DBA needed to join our DBA / Middleware team. While operating as part of a group of peers, the successful candidate needs a breadth of technical skills that extends to most, if not all, of Ellucian’s product offering and its middleware and Oracle databases. Must have the ability to implement the integration of third-party applications. Specific duties of the position include:

• Must have experience owning the technical side of all/most Banner SIS applications.
• Must have strong experience managing, administering, installing, upgrading and designing the whole Banner environment and all related third-party applications.
• Responsible for patch scheduling and installation, performance assessment and optimization, and the scheduling and coordinating of application jobs for related ERP Enterprise Applications.
• Provide technical assistance and perform troubleshooting to resolve user issues by responding to ERP Enterprise Applications-related inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions.
• Assist in development of plans outlining steps and timetables for projects related to upgrades and implementations of new products and/or functionalities.
• Implement and support data refreshes, application upgrades, code migrations, and change control.
• Develop and implement the backup, recovery, and cloning of all application environments.
• Enterprise application installation, configuration, and maintenance according to established best practices.
• Script and/or automate common, repeatable tasks across the spectrum of supported products and technologies.
• Implement and maintain third-party integrations (e.g., TouchNet, College Scheduler, Starfish).
• Interact with customers and other consultants.
• Create and maintain documentation that describes programs, operating procedures, and installations including, but not limited to, internal knowledge base, solutions and project updates.
• Primarily focus on:
• Oracle databases (19c on-premises and in OCI) as it relates to Ellucian applications (i.e., maintenance DBA).
• Banner and Ellucian family of applications (Application and Admin servers, SSB upgrades) including Apache and/or Weblogic tier.
• Automix/UC4. 
• INB, SSB, Batch, UC4, DW, ODS, APEX, ORDS, eVisions support.
• Tomcat, WebLogic.
• Ethos Identity and Integration.
• Degree Works technical configuration, upgrade, and maintenance.
• 3rd party product implementations.
• Must currently reside in the U.S.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship at any time. No 3^rd parties please!
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to provide two professional references.
