If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Engineer on our Qualification Operations Team based in New Stanton, PA.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Conducting equipment qualification testing and analysis used to provide evidence that the equipment tested will perform its safety-related function(s)
  • Initial focus of role will be supporting seismic and environmental qualification efforts
  • Interfacing with technical leads, project managers, and customers in the coordination of activities associated with assigned work scope, as required.
  • Work with internal and external customers to obtain input to develop test plans.
  • Prepare test reports using data and results obtained during testing.
  • Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or recognized equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • 0 - 3 years of experience.
  • Prior Westinghouse Internship experience strongly preferred.
  • Capability to understand and interpret design documents including drawings and calculation summaries.
  • Creative problem solver using engineering fundamentals
  • Must possess analytical skills, critical thinking, a passion for attention to details and excellent communication skills including technical writing.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
