VDart Group is seeking an experienced Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer to play a critical role in leading and executing complex engineering assignments for nuclear power plant operations and large capital projects. This non-managerial role focuses on delivering reliable, safe, and compliant electrical and I&C systems that support the efficient generation of nuclear power.

Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer with extensive experience in nuclear power plant operations and large capital projects. In this role, you will lead and execute complex engineering assignments involving multiple contracts, disciplines, and stakeholders. You will apply deep technical expertise in electrical and I&C systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations for nuclear facilities.

This position is ideal for an engineering professional with strong project management capabilities, a proven track record in nuclear plant modifications and upgrades, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced engineering tasks supporting nuclear plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects.

  • Develop and implement design modifications, including new systems, upgrades, and replacement of obsolete electrical and I&C equipment.

  • Manage engineering deliverables for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with NRC regulatory standards, project schedules, and configuration management requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

  • Prepare technical specifications, design drawings, engineering calculations, and project documentation in accordance with industry codes and best practices.

  • Mentor junior engineers to ensure adherence to nuclear engineering principles, safety culture, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, I&C Engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 6 years in nuclear power plant design and operations.

  • Proven experience managing engineering scopes in large capital projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of nuclear plant design change process, configuration management, and industry standards.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license strongly preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
